Students featured in poetry slam at school
FLINT - A poetry slam is set for 4 p.m. Wednesday at Eisenhower Elementary School, 1235 Pershing St. More than 30 students in kindergarten through sixth grade will recite original poems in the school's gym. The public is invited.

RHINO poetry pays homage to writers
The RHINO poetry group paid homage to some of the writers they feature in their annual publication Sunday afternoon when they invited three literary artists to read their work. "We regularly have monthly poetry workshops in Evanston and here," Kathleen Kirk, co-editor of RHINO, said.
